Biography
Hello! My name is Claire Cathers and I am a recent graduate of the University of Connecticut, where I studied ancient archaeobotanical remains from Syria, Turkey, and Kurdistan. This fall, I am joining Dr. Wang and Dr. McLeester's lab as a post-baccalaureate fellow in archaeology. I am arriving from an AmeriCorps archaeology education internship with the National Park Service at Fort Frederica National Monument. I also have previously worked as an Archaeobotany Research Specialist for Dr. Alexia Smith at UConn, and for the Department of Energy as an archaeology intern at the Idaho National Laboratory.
