Archaeology course focuses on Native American sports and games.
Students in the Archaeology of Native American Sports and Games class this spring learned about the social roles they played and also got some hands-on engagement.
As anthropology professor Madeleine McLeester says, "Because Native American sports and games are so interconnected into really every facet of society, it's a really nice lens to learn about past Native American cultures."
